Exterior Decorator

The Exterior Decorator is a PowerTool designed to create a number of simple 3D objects, mostly apropos to exterior house design, but the shapes certainly have a much larger possible audience than that.

Creating a series of objects parametrically (that is, with measurements) rather than by drawing them relieves the user of feeling inadequate when faced with the learning curve required to use the Punch! 3D Workshop to create some simple sorts of objects, such as stone arches, lintels, keystones, cornerstones, columns and quoins. It can also create 2D sheets, useful as room "linoleum" or when wanting to partition a wall for coloration. All of these have lots of uses - columns are used in the basements of modern housing to support steel or wood beams, and the arch tool can poduce generalized rectangular solids, fully colorable, which can be used for benches, stepping stones and all sorts od other things.
