HighRise - A TKE PowerTool for Punch!

Version 2.1.3

When you draw a plan using Punch!, the horizontal aspects of the plan are obvious and easily described on the plans for each floor. Creating a 3D effect from a plan, however, requires control in the vertical dimension as well as the horizontal dimensions. HighRise is a tool for describing the vertical design of a structure; it inputs quantities which are readily apparent to a non-professional designer, and ultimately outputs the default values which make the rest of the design easier, as well as the correct measurements that you need to supply to Punch! to properly execute your vertical design without the guesswork.

The first PowerTool ThistleKeep Engineering released in 2003 was From the Ground Up, which did exactly what was depicted in the previous paragraph. Now TKE has gone farther, adding the ability to handle more than Punch!'s normal three floors in a single plan. HighRise gives the user the ability to plan up to six floors in the same way that From the Ground Up did for three, and also to be able to manipulate them in such a way that Punch! can actually design on all six, and present a single 3D rendition that covers them all at once.

Compatibility

HighRise, as of version 2.1.0, is fully compatible with all Punch! PowerTool-enabled versions through level 12.x, including AS5000-12 and Master Landscape Pro-12. See the Compatibility page for more details.
