More exciting menu information!
Set Plan View Zoom... - a manual control for setting the zoom value.
Fit to Window - causes the zoom and centering to be set such that all the plan content is viewable on the window. The settings returned and applied do apply only to the currently tabbed plan type; thus the settings may be different for the floor tab vs the landscape tab.
Refresh, like it's Punch! counterpart, refreshes the screen by re-writing the data from the file. This is normally done anyway whenevr a change is executed.
View on *** Plan - This series of menu picks won't be found on Punch!, but the same functionality in Punch! is secured by double clicking on any of the plan tabs (foundation, floor, etc). This allows you to select all the plan types that will be visible on any of the plans.
In the Tools menu are all the PlansPlus commands that are particular to this program.
Disable Wall Embedment is by default off (wall embedment is enabled), and clicking on this option will toggle it, as indicated by the checkmark. Wall embedment, and the need to sometimes disable it, is discussed here.
Highlight Exterior Walls is an option which changes the color of exterior walls to red, in order to see if the are being used improperly.
Set All Wall Dimensions leads to a cascade of menus which allow the user to control some items that are normally controlled at the object level. These are discussed here. The checkboxes display the state of these variables as a group.
Set All Text Font... allows the user to select and change the font and font attributes that are used for all of the Notes in the plan. The affected notes are those created with the Text and Rotate Text tools, not autodimensions or object callouts - those are controlled in Punch! through Options->Dimension Properties.... Since each note has its own font setup, this command changes all the text at once, but does not preclude changing notes individually thereafter; it does a one-time sync-up.
Set Roof Plan Display will select a display mode in which true roof dimensions (rather than the horizontal projections of those dimensions) are displayed. See the discussion here.
Reset All Special Features is a command which turns off all the changes that have been made at the object and handle level, including object colors, fills, autodimension offsets and object callouts. These options are discussed here.
Reset All PlansPlus Data is an option for an emergency reset of the data that PlansPlus stores in the model file (.pro) so that it can be remembered in the user's model. This includes all the PlansPlus special effects discussed here, as well as the data stored for the MicroTools, such as PlantTrack's plant display schemes and assignments and Dimensions in Detail's dimension formatting information. This command is protected by a double questioning before action is taken; when it is, PlansPlus is exited so that the changes are immediately written out to the file (PowerTool data is never committed until the tool exits, so that is what PlansPlus has to do).
In the following section of the Tools menu is a series of MicroTool invocations. These depend on whether the MicroTools are installed, and are discussed in the appropriate MicroTool's Help Documentation.
Contents... displays the User's Manual for PlansPlus, which you have the pleasure of reading as we speak.
MicroTools displays a list of the installed MicroTools, and commands the appropriate user manual to be displayed.

About... displays the About dialog. This dialog discloses teh version of PlansPlus, as well as the versions of the installed MicroTools. The checkbox indicates which are installed, and the small button will link the user to the MicroTool's page on the TKE website for more information about the MicroTool. An example of the About dialog is shown here:
